 No. DroneFTP works with most modern drones that can take clear aerial photos and fly a consistent grid mission. DJI Mini, Air, Mavic, Phantom, and Matrice series drones are all commonly used. The most important factor is how the photos are captured, not the drone model itself. 

 A standard automated grid (lawn-mower) mapping mission works best. The mission should be flown at a consistent altitude with proper photo overlap to ensure accurate results. 

 For best results, we recommend:

• 75–85% front overlap
  70–80% side overlap
   

Higher overlap improves accuracy, especially in areas with trees, buildings, or uneven terrain.

 Yes. For mapping products like orthomosaics, elevation models, and contours, photos should be captured nadir (straight down). Oblique images are optional for 3D visualization but are not required for standard deliverables. 

No. DroneFTP can process standard GPS-tagged photos without RTK or GCPs.
